Formal dress codes didn’t disappear with hybrid working, whatever the trend pieces suggest: UK job postings mentioning “casual dress” sat at just 3.3% in mid-2025, still the exception rather than the rule. What has changed for many Sussex businesses is the difficulty of outfitting a team consistently once uniform suppliers stopped being the default. Dandylion Style provides corporate suit tailoring for businesses across Sussex from our Ardingly studio, fitting each employee individually while keeping cloth, colour and cut consistent.

Igor meets with the business to establish the house style, cloth, colour and cut before a single employee is measured, so the whole order starts from one consistent standard.
Each employee is measured individually rather than assigned the nearest stock size. Fittings can take place at the Ardingly studio or on-site for larger teams.
The same agreed cloth and house cut are used across the team, while individual measurements are applied underneath. This creates a consistent appearance without forcing anyone into an ill-fitting stock size.
Suits are built to the agreed house cloth and cut, with hand-canvassed construction available for businesses looking for greater durability from daily-wear tailoring.
Each employee is fitted individually, allowing the tailor to refine the proportions and fit rather than relying on standardised bulk-order sizing.
Fittings and collection are scheduled around the business's timeline, making the process suitable for phased rollouts, new starters or replacing an existing uniform supplier without disrupting client-facing staff.

Every two-piece suit is cut and fitted personally by Igor at the Ardingly studio, using British cloth chosen for how you'll actually wear it.

I have had the pleasure of working with Igor on several projects: reinventing a Ted Baker plain black coat with hot pink herringbone tweed (yes it’s as fabulous as it sounds); making a duplicate of an existing summer skirt but with bolder colours and heavier weight fabric; relining a plain H&M blazer to make it a statement piece; and various alterations and upgrades of Etsy vintage purchases. And there is always a little suggestion for “detail” here and there which really makes the difference. He is very client focused, open to new ideas, and his professionalism and the quality of work is to a very high standard, as it should be. He has a client base flung far and wide (UK, Europe, EMEA) so it’s always best to get in touch in advance to arrange appointment. And the tea and cake is always good.Posted on Google![]()

Igor has made a dress for my wife Wendy, and a three peice suit for myself, for our visit to the Buckingham Palace Garden Party. From our first phone call and subsequent visits to his shop, it was an amazing experience. He made my wife feel relaxed and confident that the dress would be what she wanted. My suit was a perfect fit, complete with matching tie and pocket square, the two shirts he made are a perfect fit. We both cannot thank Igor enough for a fantastic experience. Would thoroughly recommend him to anybody who wants bespoke tailor made suit or dress.Posted on Google![]()

My experience with Igor was first class and I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a bespoke suit. I have gone into more detail on my experience below. I was looking for a 3 piece suit for my wedding day and was originally looking to buy one off the rack, but hadn’t been able to find one that I was happy with the fit. I met Igor and told him what I was looking for and he very quickly narrowed down some materials for me and my partner to choose from that were within our budget. We went with the 3 piece suit, but Igor also made us a tie and pocket square out the same material as the waistcoat and also tailored a shirt I bought so that it fit me better. This was an unexpected benefit and it’s the best a shirt has fit me. I went in to see Igor a few times afterwards to check the fit of the suit and it was always a great experience. I don’t usually enjoy buying clothes but it was a pleasure dealing with Igor and I really enjoyed it. We’d just had out first child and Igor was so nice to him and accommodating of my now wife whilst she was feeding him etc. When I tried the suit on for the final time, I was so happy with what Igor had created. He bagged everything I’d need for the day in the suit bag and having a suit that looked brilliant and was made to make me look my best made the experience of having photos and videos taken that much better, I look forward to working with Igor again.Posted on Google![]()

Absolutely fabulous and highly recommended. I approached Igor for a bespoke 3 piece for my destination wedding and he did not disappoint. Consistent and reliable communication, even at weekends. He worked tirelessly to complete my suit for the deadline (with a number of alterations) and the result was immaculate finish, I could not have been more pleased. Thank you Igor!Posted on Google![]()

Well what can I say other than a wonderful experience! I needed a suit for my best friends wedding and as the Best Man decided to go all out as I just didn't have a suit that had ever worked for me. I showed Igor the styles I had in mind and we picked the fabrics. We discussed things and then he let loose. Igor is not only an amazingly creative person, but an extremely personable character. The prices might be slightly high for some, and I get that, but in all honesty you can see where the money goes. This is tailor made, not like the off the peg junk. I have a 50' chest and I'm only 5ft 10 with a 14 inch drop. It you're athletically built, off the peg suits just don't work. This whole experience was amazing and at the end of it I feel I have made a life long friend as well. Just treat yourself peeps and speak to Igor. Thank you, thank you, thank you Igor, you're a star !!!!!Posted on Google![]()

Largely yes. UK job postings mentioning casual dress sat at 3.3% nationally in mid-2025, and London specifically had the lowest share of any UK region at 2.3%, suggesting formal or business dress remains the norm in most workplaces.
A uniform supplier typically sizes each employee to the nearest stock option; Dandylion Style measures and fits each employee individually while keeping cloth, colour and cut consistent across the team, avoiding the mismatched fit common in bulk orders.
Yes, group consultations and fittings can be scheduled at the Ardingly studio or arranged on-site for larger teams across East and West Sussex.
Durable British worsted wool is typically recommended, since it holds its shape and colour through regular wear and repeated dry-cleaning better than lighter or more delicate cloths.
It depends on the cloth and construction chosen. Individual fitting and cloth quality are the trade-off against a bulk supplier's lower per-unit cost, and Igor can quote against a specific team size and cloth brief.
