FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Explore answers to the most common questions about our bespoke tailoring services, ensuring you have all the information you need to make an informed decision.

What makes a weekend suit different from a formal suit?

Weekend suits are crafted for ease and versatility. The cut is more relaxed, the cloths often softer or more textured and the styling designed to be worn effortlessly — whether with a shirt, knitwear or even dressed down with trainers.

Can I choose a more casual fabric for my bespoke weekend suit?

Absolutely. We offer a wide range of cloths suited to casual tailoring — from brushed cottons and soft flannels to unstructured linens and relaxed wool blends. Igor will guide you through the options to suit your lifestyle.

Can I wear a weekend suit for travel or holidays?

Yes, many clients choose lighter, breathable cloths that travel well and don’t crease easily. These suits are designed with movement and comfort in mind — ideal for time away, whether at home or abroad.

How long does it take to make a bespoke weekend suit?

On average, the process takes 8–10 weeks from consultation to final fitting. This allows time for detailed handcrafting, fittings and any adjustments needed to achieve the right fit and feel.

Is a weekend suit still made to the same standard as formal tailoring?

Without question. Each weekend suit is made to the same high standards of cut, make and fit — the difference lies in the intention. It’s relaxed tailoring, crafted with the same care and attention to detail.

“Having a bespoke item of clothing made is a very personal experience. It is as much about the relationship with the tailor as it is about the finished article. You made the experience an absolute delight. Collaborative, creative and fun. And the waistcoat you made for me is quite astonishing. Outrageous and elegant – all in one garment. When I put it on I feel a foot taller and with an extra shot of confidence. Thank you. I am sure my friends will be knocking on the door to have something similar – but not the same of course! – made for them.”

Justin S

“I passed by the window and was totally inspired by the bespoke clothes range. Igor listened, advised and created the funkiest waistcoat, then I thought – what else? Now I own two brilliant new shirts, a unique tie and handkerchief combo and my suit fits better than when I bought it. My girlfriend also looks stunning in her new dress, but I’ll let her tell you about that. In the words of that famous actor…I’ll be back.”
