How long does a made to measure tuxedo take?
Our made to measure tuxedos typically take around 6–8 weeks from consultation to final fitting. This allows time for careful tailoring and any finishing touches needed for the perfect fit.
Can I customise the details of my tuxedo?
Yes — from lapel style and button choices to lining colours and fabric selection, you’ll be guided through each option to ensure your tuxedo reflects your personal style and occasion.
Is a fitting at the studio required?
Not at all. We’re pleased to offer fittings at home, at work or virtually if preferred. Igor can bring swatches and walk you through the process wherever suits you best.
Do you only offer classic black tuxedos?
While timeless black remains a favourite, we also offer midnight blue and other considered shades, all tailored in fine British cloths. We’ll help you find something quietly distinctive.
Can I wear a made to measure tuxedo more than once?
Absolutely. A well-made tuxedo is a wardrobe staple that suits many formal occasions. With thoughtful design and fit, yours will be made to stand the test of time.

Our approach to tailoring is very relaxed and we offer amazing, luxurious British fabrics – such as Tweed, Cashmere, Cotton, Linen, Wool and Mohair. We can of course tailor to your specific needs and incorporate unique designs such as quirky, funky and colourful linings to personalise our products for you.
At Dandylion Style we offer many options to tailor your suit using different grades such as hand stitching, machine stitching and half hand stitching.
Our studio is based in a small, quiet and historic village in West Sussex called ‘Ardingly’ but, knowing how busy our clients are, we can also arrange to meet at your place of work, in your home or anywhere that is more convenient for you with our “Visiting tailor” service. Dandylion Style already caters for many locations around Sussex, London, Europe and USA. Wherever we meet, you will be measured by an experienced tailor who will advise you on fittings, fabrics, linings and buttons and present you with our swatches that include the very best of British mills.

Made to measure evening and black-tie suits start from £1,200 for a two-piece or £1,395 for a three-piece. For a complete look, shirts begin at £150, with handmade ties and handkerchiefs from £125 — all thoughtfully selected to complement your formalwear with understated elegance.
