Chelsea didn’t build its fashion reputation on uniformity. In the 1960s, King’s Road boutiques like Mary Quant’s Bazaar turned the street into a byword for dressing as an individual rather than following a house style, a reputation the area has never fully lost. A bespoke suit from Dandylion Style continues that logic: hand-drafted from your own measurements, not a factory block, and built by master tailor Igor, 17+ years of experience, through our Chelsea visiting tailor service. From £1,895.
Two-piece bespoke suit
First fitting to finished garment
Ardingly studio or visiting
Every bespoke suit for a Chelsea client starts with a conversation about cut, cloth and occasion, held at your home or office rather than a shop appointment. Igor travels to you, or you're welcome at our Ardingly, West Sussex studio.
Cloth is chosen from British wool, mohair-blend and linen, sourced from Huddersfield and West Yorkshire mills whose worsted weaving dates back to the 1800s. This is where a Chelsea client's suit starts to diverge from anyone else's order.
Lapel shape, button stance, pocket style and a lining pulled from bold or unconventional silks, the detailing Chelsea clients tend to lean into rather than shy away from. Every bespoke suit should carry at least one detail that's genuinely yours.
A meticulous measuring session captures your posture, shoulder line and the small asymmetries a size chart ignores. From this, Igor hand-drafts a paper pattern kept on file exclusively for your garments.
Hand-stitched over 6–8 weeks with hand-canvassed construction, giving the chest and lapel a soft roll rather than the flat, fused shape of off-the-peg suiting.
Two to three fittings, held at your Chelsea location, refine the fit before the final reveal. Once it's right, it's yours, cut for how you actually want to be seen, not how a block pattern assumes you should.
Every two-piece suit is cut and fitted personally by Igor at the Ardingly studio, using British cloth chosen for how you'll actually wear it.

I have had the pleasure of working with Igor on several projects: reinventing a Ted Baker plain black coat with hot pink herringbone tweed (yes it’s as fabulous as it sounds); making a duplicate of an existing summer skirt but with bolder colours and heavier weight fabric; relining a plain H&M blazer to make it a statement piece; and various alterations and upgrades of Etsy vintage purchases. And there is always a little suggestion for “detail” here and there which really makes the difference. He is very client focused, open to new ideas, and his professionalism and the quality of work is to a very high standard, as it should be. He has a client base flung far and wide (UK, Europe, EMEA) so it’s always best to get in touch in advance to arrange appointment. And the tea and cake is always good.Posted on Google![]()

Igor has made a dress for my wife Wendy, and a three peice suit for myself, for our visit to the Buckingham Palace Garden Party. From our first phone call and subsequent visits to his shop, it was an amazing experience. He made my wife feel relaxed and confident that the dress would be what she wanted. My suit was a perfect fit, complete with matching tie and pocket square, the two shirts he made are a perfect fit. We both cannot thank Igor enough for a fantastic experience. Would thoroughly recommend him to anybody who wants bespoke tailor made suit or dress.Posted on Google![]()

My experience with Igor was first class and I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a bespoke suit. I have gone into more detail on my experience below. I was looking for a 3 piece suit for my wedding day and was originally looking to buy one off the rack, but hadn’t been able to find one that I was happy with the fit. I met Igor and told him what I was looking for and he very quickly narrowed down some materials for me and my partner to choose from that were within our budget. We went with the 3 piece suit, but Igor also made us a tie and pocket square out the same material as the waistcoat and also tailored a shirt I bought so that it fit me better. This was an unexpected benefit and it’s the best a shirt has fit me. I went in to see Igor a few times afterwards to check the fit of the suit and it was always a great experience. I don’t usually enjoy buying clothes but it was a pleasure dealing with Igor and I really enjoyed it. We’d just had out first child and Igor was so nice to him and accommodating of my now wife whilst she was feeding him etc. When I tried the suit on for the final time, I was so happy with what Igor had created. He bagged everything I’d need for the day in the suit bag and having a suit that looked brilliant and was made to make me look my best made the experience of having photos and videos taken that much better, I look forward to working with Igor again.Posted on Google![]()

Absolutely fabulous and highly recommended. I approached Igor for a bespoke 3 piece for my destination wedding and he did not disappoint. Consistent and reliable communication, even at weekends. He worked tirelessly to complete my suit for the deadline (with a number of alterations) and the result was immaculate finish, I could not have been more pleased. Thank you Igor!Posted on Google![]()

Well what can I say other than a wonderful experience! I needed a suit for my best friends wedding and as the Best Man decided to go all out as I just didn't have a suit that had ever worked for me. I showed Igor the styles I had in mind and we picked the fabrics. We discussed things and then he let loose. Igor is not only an amazingly creative person, but an extremely personable character. The prices might be slightly high for some, and I get that, but in all honesty you can see where the money goes. This is tailor made, not like the off the peg junk. I have a 50' chest and I'm only 5ft 10 with a 14 inch drop. It you're athletically built, off the peg suits just don't work. This whole experience was amazing and at the end of it I feel I have made a life long friend as well. Just treat yourself peeps and speak to Igor. Thank you, thank you, thank you Igor, you're a star !!!!!Posted on Google![]()

Yes, through our visiting tailor service, Igor brings consultation, measuring and fittings to your Chelsea address or office. The pattern-cutting and construction happen at the Ardingly workshop, but you never need to leave Chelsea for the process itself.
Bespoke two-piece suits start from £1,895, the same studio pricing whether you're fitted in Chelsea or at Ardingly. Cloth and detailing choices affect the final price, confirmed at your first consultation.
Bespoke means your pattern is hand-drafted from scratch; some "tailored" offerings on the King's Road are made-to-measure, adjusting an existing block instead. Igor drafts every pattern individually and hand-canvasses the construction, which is a different, slower discipline.
Typically 6–8 weeks from first consultation to completion, the same timeline as our Ardingly clients. Two to three fittings are built into that window, all held at your Chelsea location.
Yes, and it's common. Chelsea clients often lean toward bolder linings and less conventional detailing than a strictly corporate commission, and Igor discusses these choices at your first consultation.
