FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Explore answers to the most common questions about our bespoke tailoring services, ensuring you have all the information you need to make an informed decision.

What’s the difference between made to measure and bespoke?

Made to measure suits are based on a pre-existing block pattern adjusted to your measurements, offering a precise fit with fewer fittings than bespoke. It’s a more streamlined process, while still allowing for personal style choices and quality craftsmanship.

How long does it take to make a two-piece made to measure suit?

Typically, it takes around 6–8 weeks from your initial consultation to final fitting. This includes time for tailoring, adjustments and ensuring everything fits just as it should.

Can I choose my own fabric and details?

Yes. You’ll be guided through a curated selection of British cloths, linings and design details — from lapel styles to button choices — allowing the suit to reflect your personal style.

Is a made to measure suit suitable for everyday wear?

Absolutely. Many clients choose made to measure two-piece suits for work or daily wear. They’re designed for comfort and ease while maintaining a sharp, well-balanced silhouette.

Do you offer fittings outside the studio?

Yes, we offer a Visiting Tailoring Service, bringing the fitting experience to your home or workplace. Virtual consultations are also available with swatches sent by post.

“Igor is an absolute STAR! He went far above and beyond my greatest expectations to get me and my groomsman ready for my wedding on a very tight schedule. He is a pleasure to work with and his personal style and passion for quality tailoring was so clear in the suits he made for us. I really can’t recommend Igor and his services highly enough!”

Brad Guin

“Following a successful and enjoyable personal shopping experience purchased as a gift for my wife, I recently discovered that Igor had started Dandylion Style and contacted him to carry out alterations to a number of suit jackets. Very happy with the results and as I required a new suit for the office, decided to use his bespoke tailoring service. Igor is great to work with, very flexible, knowledgable, great to discuss ideas with and the finished suit is exactly as I wanted. Very happy!”
